Printing information

Screen printing

Screen printing is a process where the print colour is printed onto the appropriate material through a fine woven mesh with a rubber doctor blade. Those areas of the mesh where according to the print picture no colour should be printed, the mesh is made colour impermeable by applying a stencil.

Within the screen printing process it is possible to print different materials as well as flat (foils, plates etc.) and also formed (bottles, housings etc.). According to requirements special printing colour is applied. Mainly paper products, plastics, textiles, ceramics, metal, wood and glass are printed. Screen printing is mainly part of advertising and labelling, textile and ceramic printing and is deployed in industrial applications.

Pad printing

Pad printing is an indirect printing process (gravures printing principle) which has developed to the most important process within the printing of plastic bodies and is especially used in the advertising segment.

Pad printing achieves especially with curved surfaces very good printing results due to the elastic pad which adapts to the form of the printing article. Areas of application are e.g. the printing of injections, toys, CDs, dishes, screw tops and lids, lighters.

Laser gravure

With laser gravure the surface of the material is grinded with a laser beam. The laser gravure is mainly applied to metal. Due to its modest finish, the gravure has often a high-quality and exclusive appearance. Gravures are very durable and abrasion-proof.

Transfer printing

Transfer printing or sublime printing is a printing process where dye or pigment is vaporized into the carrier (sublimated). Transfer paper and foil as well as special inks is applied which are normally vaporized into the polyester mesh or polyester coating.

First, a special foil with sublime ink is printed (inverted) and then transferred onto the carrier material with a thermo transfer press or a hot calendar through heat of up to 200 degrees. Advantages of the sublime printing are especially due to the high picture printing quality of different materials. Furthermore, the print is resistant to UV radiance and other environmental impact. With the sublime printing the colour printing cannot be felt after transferring the print onto the material because the ink has been fully vaporized by the material.

Materials which are meant for sublime printing e.g. T-Shirts or ribbons for lanyards made out of polyester or are covered with a polyester coating. Also carriers with polymer coating like wood, aluminium, glass or ceramic can be printed with sublime printing.

Digital transfer printing

With digital printing also known as picture printing the print is in full colour and reaches with a correct resolution a min. of 300 dpi photo quality. The desired motive is firstly printed onto the carrier paper and is then applied inverted with a press or a hot calendar onto the requested textile or other article.

Sublimation printing

Sublime printing or transfer printing is a printing process where dye or pigment is vaporized into the carrier (sublimated).

Advantages of the sublime printing are especially due to the high picture printing quality of different materials and the comparable lower price.

Embroidery

The embroidery is especially applied with textiles like T-Shirts, caps, jackets, wests etc. and often bestows the finished goods with a very high-quality outfit. We embroider up to eight colours per motive. Embroidery is washable and very durable. Please inquire by email the desired motive separately. The price for the embroidery depends on the quantity of the required stitches and needs to be calculated before.
